Process of PCC Online Form Submission:

  1. First, visit the official website of the Passport Seva Portal. (Click on the “Register Now”  link on the Home Page)
  2. Login to the Passport Seva Online Portal with the Login ID created in Step 1.
  3. Click the “Apply for Police Clearance Certificate” link.
  4. Fill in the required details in the form and submit
  5. Click the “Pay and Schedule Appointment” link on the “View Saved/Submitted Applications” screen to schedule an appointment.
  6. Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at all PSK/POPSK/PO.
    Online Payment can be made using any one of the following modes:

    1. Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard and Visa)
    2. Internet Banking (State Bank of India (SBI) and Other Banks)
    3. SBI Bank Challan
  7. Click the “Print Application Receipt” link to print the application receipt containing the Application Reference Number (ARN)/Appointment Number.
    Note: Carrying a printout of the Application Receipt is no longer required. An SMS with your appointment details is also accepted as proof of appointment during your visit to Passport Office.
  8. Visit the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/Regional Passport Office (RPO) where an appointment has been booked, along with original documents.

Process of e-Form Submission for PCC:

  1. Visit the official portal of the Passport Seva Portal.
  2. A home page opens on your screen. Download the e-Form through the “Download e-Form” link available on the Home Page.
  3. Fill in the downloaded e-Form and click the Validate and Save button in it. This will generate an XML file, which will be required later for uploading into the system.
  4. Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal. (Click on the “Register Now” link on the Home Page).
  5. Login to the Passport Seva Online Portal with the registered Login Id.
  6. Upload the XML file (generated in Step 2) through the “Upload e-Form” link. Do not upload the PDF form at this stage as only XML file is accepted by the system.
  7. Click the “Pay and Schedule Appointment” link on the “View Saved/Submitted Applications” screen to schedule an appointment.
  8. Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at all PSK/POPSK/PO.
